While photographs appear to show or describe some aspect of reality at the time the photo was taken...something real, physical, solid. Yet they show only a certain point of view, of the truth...a story to tell... narrative perhaps? Story? Truth? Photographs are not neutral!
Photography is almost like sketching with a camera. It is not about reality but about a photographer's vision. His perspection of the world around him. The world is infinitely interesting and photography like drawing and painting looks at that world and comments on it.
